Designing a Stay Around a Feeling
Designing a Stay Around a Feeling

Every stay we've ever loved began, in memory, with a feeling. Not a colour, not a chair, not a view. A feeling. The way the light came in through slatted shutters. The way the sheet felt after a swim.

So we designed backwards. We started with the feeling we wanted the guest to have at 6:47 AM on a slow morning — and worked backward to the objects that would deliver it. Some things stayed. Most things left.

It's an inefficient way to build a stay. But it's the only way we know that produces a room you don't want to leave.
