Why We Fell in Love with Slow Travel
Why We Fell in Love with Slow Travel

We used to travel like it was a checklist. Twelve places in seven days. Two cities on Tuesday. The next flight before the last hotel had memorised our names.

Then, somewhere between an unplanned Goa week and a monsoon that refused to end, we stopped moving so much. And we noticed something. The city we spent five days in taught us more than the twenty cities we walked through in five weeks.

Slow travel isn't a philosophy. It's an accident of paying attention. You start with a longer stay and end with a shorter list of favourite streets. You come back knowing three cafés instead of thirty.

ROVANA was built for the kind of traveller who chose Goa this time. Not one of many places. The one place. For a week, or two, or a month between books.
